What is a FeedList?

A FeedList is a page which displays links to the latest blog posts from your favorite blogs.

Boxes?

The FeedList page consist of many boxes, there are different kind of boxes:
  • A normal box, this is the most simple box of all the boxes. You as a webmaster define the box title and the box content. The content can be anything, from simple text to a flash movie.
  • A feed box, this is basically the same as a normal box but in a feed box you can't define the content of the box. Instead you specify the feed url of a rss feed and then the feed box will automatic display the latest entries of the rss feed.
  • Page box, this box contains all your pages.
  • Link box, this box contains all your links.
  • Contact box, this box contains the contact form which visitors/webmasters can use to get in touch with you.
  • Blog box, this box contains all the blogs that have feeds on your feedlist.

Position those Boxes

When a visitor visits your FeedList is usually is a table with 2 or more columns. The boxes will appear in those columns. You can specify which box will appear in which column and on which position, you can do that by selecting 'Box move' in the menu.

The Design

A FeedList will have a bit of a basic look, it may even seems a bit boring when you first click the 'Preview' link. But don't worry, if you want you can't change every single detail. If you don't know your HTML then the easy to use Wizards will come in handy. To access the Wizards select 'Templates' in the menu. If you do know your HTML then you can change the full HTML and fine tune your FeedList to your extravagance wishes. The 'MyFeedList Template Tutorial' might come in handy.
